Freemasonry is an organisation of men who strive to live by the fundamental principles of interity, goodwill and charity.  It is a non-profit organisation that is heavily involved in supporting charity and community service.  It is a society that unifies men of high ideals regardless of colour, creed or worldly status.

There are approximately five million Freemasons worldwide and about 75,000 in Australia and New Zealand.  Freemasons are ordinary men in the community, 18 years and over, of all religions and backgrounds, who share a concern for human values and moral standards, respect for the laws of society and the rights of individuals.

What does it mean to be in Freemasonry?

Who do I speak to?

How do I become a Freemason?

To find the answer to these and other questions, come and join us at:

DJERRIWARRH LODGE

Freemasonry is a great way to make new friends and to make a positive difference to your community.

Freemasonry is a multi-racial, multi-denominational organization that seeks to practice Universal Charity, Build Friendships, Foster High Moral Standards and Strive for Excellence in all pursuits.

Freemasonry can also provide opportunities for Self Development.

Although Freemasonry is a Fraternal Organization, it would not function without the support of our wives or partners of our members.

Djerriwarrh Lodge No 891 began in 1986 with the sponsorship of Melton Lodge No 367 and has had a positive effect on the Melton and surrounding community.

Being a member of our Lodge doesn’t have to be a drain on your time.  In fact we look forward to our monthly meetings.  We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except January) at the Masonic Centre in Palmerston Street Melton.  We presently have 35 members and would welcome any gentleman who would like to join us.

The priority we set in the Lodge is Family First, Work Second and then Lodge Third.  We don’t want you to get into strife with the most important institutions in life that allows you to enjoy your Freemasonry.

Djerriwarrh Lodge (No 891) has an active social committee and organises many outings during the year for the family and friends of the members.
